Key West Sunset

Key West Sunset

Living in South Florida has it's advantages when it comes to travel and tourism. Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports are convenient hubs for travelling. You can catch a last minute cruise for half the price of a full fare and leave out of either port, depending on the cruise line. If you are a boater, a short trip to the Bahamas or Bimini is a must. For those of you that love to travel by car, Key West, the furthermost Key is a destination.
If you have never been, put it on your "bucket list". There are so many things to see and do - the list goes on and on. The sunsets in Key West are something to see. The colors are so beautiful and ever changing, you will go through many clicks on your camera to catch the "best one". If you want to really treat yourself while you're in Key West, take a sunset cruise. The sailing ship we took was called the "Appledore". She is an 86' wooden, windjammer schooner offering evening sunset sails in Key West during the winters. In the summer, she heads to Camden, Maine for day sails and private events.
